In case it was dubious to anyone whether Em was talking as an admin or the character being ace on Wednesday she's confirmed it's the character (as well(?)) With BBH today and is on QSMP updates. Both convos weren't in brackets and started with her referring to the person as their family title (mamae and uncle bad) and she 'baked' the cake in game. We know they're role-playing children but there are no canonical ages and we don't know how long the three were on egg island so it's not weird that she knows she's ace, she's not a baby.

Grimm is a little shit. He's a lot better now then when we first met though. His grades are still ass and he's too stubborn to let me help him study. Very excitable and cute. He'll never admit it but he likes the back of his ears scratched and he'll pretend to be angry with me. He's just embarrassed haha

This little mfer can EAT like... I don't know where all of it went type shit. Where tf did all that tuna that was double his weight go? who tf knows honestly. He usually curls up with me in my bed in Ramshackle, unless he's mad and trying to prove a point cuz I told him to get a job if he wants that much tuna.

All of my other friends are following me too. I got into some drama and bro was lowkey laughing at me and eating this shit up.

I'm not necessarily friends with Trey but he seems nice enough. A bit mischievous when he wants to be but over all kind. His arms are fucking built dude. Like I know it comes with being a baker and kneading that dough all the time but damn.. He's a damn good baker too. Those tarts smelled so good sob. He was the first and only one other than Grimm to actually come check on me directly after Riddle's overblot. Man looked so concerned.

Riddle is a lot more chill now and we're friends..? Idk We don't hang out too much but I do keep pink shirts in stock in Ramshackle for his dorm members. It started with Ace, then Deuce, then some random guy, and one thing led to another and he started escorting these hoes to Ramshackle himself. Like I mean he's yelling at them, red in the face all the way up to my door and when I open the shit somehow his face is back to just regular rosy cheeked white boy. He also brings back the shirts, washed and in perfect condition himself. I think we're friends? Idk he's so prim and proper with his language with everyone its hard to tell. But I'm also autistic so I could be missing something. He gets playful every once in a while. In my DR its an actual college but he's a prodigy and started college early so he's only like 18. Slay honestly.

Deuce is such a sweetheart but he's kinda dumb sometimes. It's okay though, he's trying his best and all you really gotta do is work with him on his level and work up from there. I have successfully explained that not all eggs are fertilized. He's also more willing to ask me for help than say Grimm or Ace. Especially after everything with Azul. He loves his mom and he's very easily impressed. Very quizzical and honestly I feel like if he had some accommodations or was taught in a slightly different way he'd have better grades. His PE grade is always an A tho so.. Slay former delinquent slaaayyyy

Ace... uhg. I love his ass /p but god I wanna punch him sometimes. He's such a twat waffle, all bro does is be argumentative, be a bit of a perv and try to steal my food. I have almost stabbed him. My food aggression is crazy when he's around. He's funny though so he's got that going for him. Bro crashed on my couch when Riddle took his magic and kicked him out the dorm and was basically like "we sleeping in the same bed" NO YOU WILL SLEEP ON THE COUCH. He's pretty stubborn but he's also helpful or at least tries to be when you really need him. Like Floyd made me have a seizure (by accident he still feels really bad don't come for him please 😭) and Ace was right there with everyone else trying to make sure I was gonna be okay. He even hesitated to go back to Heartslabyul right away. He wanted to walk me back to Savanaclaw but I didn't want him to get in trouble. So he clearly cares. He's just an asshole.

OK I’m sure you’re getting just about every character from The Locked Tomb but Cam is my favorite. She's a nerd AND a jock. She is in this deeply intense and loving and unhealthily codependent soulbond partnership with her best friend second cousin and prince. She is smart and deadpan snarky and fights like a grease fire and I have never been able to get that line out of my head.

For Sasha:

Incredible character, canonically bisexual, has not one but TWO matching swords with heron designs on them, AND is pivotal in the themes of Amphibia. 10/10 one of the characters of all time.

Sasha is only confirmed to be bisexual via an easter egg in the finale of the show, but she also LITERALLY dual wields swords in the season 2 finale 

Sasha is a thirteen year old girl dropped in lot a fantasy setting and kept in a dungeon for months before talking her way into a leadership position of the very same army that imprisoned her. Swords are her main weapon for the entire series (by the end of the show she dual-wields). She also has an extremely interesting arc in my opinion (protagonist’s toxic best friend to enemies to double agent to leader of the resistance movement to besties again but she’s grown as a person this time).

I'm on ep 12 of dokidoki atm and so far I really don't know who my fave will be. I haven't met ace but of the other 4 I feel they all have such interesting personalities Yap under cut so the post doesn't take up your whole dash <3

Mana being the student council president and the leader was unexpected, she has the normal pink lead positivity but I love how she's so reliable and rolls with the punches so easily. So far nothing seems to faze her and it's really funny to me. A giant crab monster ep 1? She scolds it. A fairy talks to her? She shakes their hand and introduces herself. Turns in a precure? No problem. A baby hatches from an egg? Cute! What shall we call it? It's so genuinely funny to me because her being so helpful and relied on being coupled with a trait that is usually seen as stupid is really fun. Rikka being in a group of people that react in any other way than what is considered normal to these events, whilst she reacts normally is so entertaining and makes for some of the more funny moments. She's loyal, supportive, understands her own boundaries and takes care of Mana when Mana neglects herself. She's wary of things and is protective of the other girls and has colder moments but is incredibly caring and warm. She always knows what others need and is prepared to handle whatever comes her way. Not to mention that she always feels ready to fight someone which is hilarious. Rosetta is SUPER interesting to me. I mean, it's hard to ignore her being rich and having an Alfred from Batman level butler but outside of that I feel like there's not been a cure like her so far (up to dokidoki.) Her distancing herself from things because she kicked the shit out of some bullies is such a strange "backstory." She offers to have a supportive role for the cures and even after joining it still feels like she sticks to the supportive side and holds herself back imo. She's always analysing things and is incredibly quick at picking up any situation and other people's emotions but doesn't take an active role in fixing them (so far at least) she just allows the situation to unfold and will converse normally with the person so they're not exactly alone. Also, her always having quite silly reactions to events but in the most calm and put together fashion is so fun. Makoto has the whole, useless at things because she's from another world trope that I absolutely adore. She's also autistic af to me. She's like...gap moe, slight tsundere vibes and I eat that UP. It's fun to me that even when she starts feeling more part of the group, her personality doesn't change to her suddenly being super open, which I really love. She has laser focus, is loyal and isn't good at expressing herself which I always relate to. I feel like normally by this point I can tell who my fave is going to be or at least have 2 characters that could potentially become my fave but so far I really have no idea and that's so fun!!

So it very likely they will be curious what the game Easter eggs are about so I will gladly help them get say get the Ezio Collection if the European Templars have dialogue mentioning they don’t want another Borgia fiasco since the game take places in the 1580’s-90’s and during this time many Templars went to the new world or other places to escape the “Dark Age” of the Templars order where it’s was about gaining power for selfish reasons rather further their causes

I think the first post your talking about was one I put up, I go with most anything PS2 on down for consoles, some PS2 aren't really "retro" but the divide for me is mostly based on hotfixes and micro-transactions so like Sims2 is the right age but i shift round on the retro bit since you could buy skins and such still gonna be retro I think.

Online games you could play for free online are retro too, but everyone will define it in their own way too so no hard and fast rules for me.

If I'd had the money to get one of the first gen PS3's I'd have gotten one since they were built to still run PS1&2 games as well, once they took that away I had no desire to get the thing. Wii was great because you had the Wii shop for the older games and it also played GC games, Wii shop games weren't too pricey either.

Blizard had it right with World of Warcraft, at least at one point. The were selling the game disc for like $5 with a 2 week subscription make their money in the long game, not sure if anyone is doing that kind of thing anymore but they should be.

I love seeing people get into the games and stuff I enjoyed when I was younger, watching through the X-Files with a friend who's never seen it before and it's great seeing it through the eyes of someone who hasn't watched it.

Happy Duck day all! This is a very exciting day for me since I get to see a lot more Duck posts.

Since it is Duck day, you get to have a summary of all of my Duck headcanons, as well as some more headcanons that I haven't previously mentioned.

-He is left handed.

-He is hypermobile, and sometimes needs a cane to walk. His joints also click and dislocate a lot. His muscles and joints grow stiff and ache if he doesn't stretch or click them for a while.

-He does waddle, no one knows why. (From an omniscient narrator’s perspective, it’s because of his struggle with balance and spacial awareness due to his autism and hypermobility). He has waddled since he started walking.

-He is English, and was born in the west country (Devon specifically).

-He is very strong, but he only knows some of his strength. (Oliver is the same. Duck is a lot stronger than him, but Oliver is still strong).

-He is autistic, but he doesn’t tell anyone. He prefers not to. Only his parents know. Edward suspects that he is autistic, but he hasn't mentioned it to him.

-He is known as “Duck” because he loves ducks, his hair flicks out at the ends like duck feathers and a male duck's tail feather, he waddles, he talks a lot sometimes like a duck quacking, and he stims by flapping his hands like a duck flapping its wings.

-His favourite foods are sandwiches (egg and cress is his favourite) and doughnuts (jam filled doughnuts are his favourite), he also loves cinnamon rolls and pie. Said foods are also his comfort foods.

-He loves baking, and is very good at it.

-He loves reading, and prefers to read non fiction books about his special interests.

-He has a dark green vintage satchel with a gold “GWR” on the front, a small GWR pin and a duck pin. He got the bag from his grandad who also worked on the GWR railway as a train driver. He got the pin when he was hired on the GWR, and his mom and dad bought him the duck pin when they all went on holiday when he was a child.

-He is very close with his parents and grandfather.

-He has no siblings.

-He has very little interest in dating (from an omniscient narrator’s perspective, he is grey ace, but he only likes men).

-He doesn’t get on with Thomas, and Thomas doesn’t like him.

-He loves tweed, and always wears it when he isn’t working.

-He loves smart fashion in general.

-He has perfect manners.

-He has a book that he writes in whenever he is upset or angry.

-He has quite extreme emotions, and struggles to control them sometimes.

-He tends to stare quite a bit. No one knows why. Is he daydreaming? Is he doing it on purpose to unnerve you? Does he want something from you? Does he just like staring? Perhaps it is all of them, who knows…

-His parents call him “little waddler”affectionately. It started when he walked for the first time and they kept calling him that since. They also affectionately call him “pumpkin”.

-He affectionately calls people that he likes "pumpkin".

-When he stands in one spot, he sways from side to side.

-He loves his hair and loves to watch and feel his hair flowing in the wind or underwater.

-He infodumps a lot. This is mainly where others’ annoyance for him talking comes from.

-He can naturally swim well and really likes the water. He is also very buoyant and loves floating in the water.

-His special interests are the great western railway, the sea, boats, smart fashion and birds.

-He has a large collection of canes that are practical and classy at the same time. Some even have duck heads to match with his name.

-He daydreams quite a lot.

-He can sing very well, and is very musically talented.

-He actually likes his name, because he considers it distinctive and classy. He also likes being referred to as "Duck" because it reminds him of how others see him (in a good way)

oh goodness!!! as i grow up these change a lot, so im gonna give this a long answer couse i can (also i physically cannot not over explain things hehe)

when i was younger andjust got into the show: 10, 11 and 9!

now that i finally expirianced more of doccy who: hmmm wow this became so much harder to answer actually, even doctors i don't think about often i like some parts on but if i had to choose... for now... 8 is defenetly up there! and its francly a battle between 9 and 1, but also 10 my beloved, but also 11 was so importent to me growing up that its hard to even put him on the list couse i cannot be possably objective on him at all, breaking my trans and autistic egg, so, even as through the years i find myself loving other doctors more, and he is not part of the list much these days, he is still automaticly part of it so its pointless to actually put him there? hope that made sense! i love 1 so much, did not expect to adore him as much as i do, but what can i say eventually he he he and ho hoed himself into my heart. also after rewatching some of 10 i finally rememberd how much and why i loved him as a kid and i do not think it was nostalgia that keeps him high for now. also also 6 is such a suprise but he is pretty close to being on the list, which is fucking impressive concidering i only expirianced one audio of his (of which you know lol). also 5!!! baby fun 5 is also fun!! but not on this list yet. to recap: for now its 8 (wow i did not expect for 8 to still stay up there so high but he is so fasinating and relatable and babygirl and gender and actual canon mewo mewo and weee), 9, and 10 or 1! but 11 is still automaticly in there, hope that makes sense!!

It's really interesting how we can learn and grow with help from these labels. I've kinda had a similar but also opposite experience with aromantic and asexual.

When I came out as trans, I looked back and reevaluated my life. I filtered out all the supposed romantic desires that were just a mixture of gender envy, pressure to be perceived as a normal straight male, and platonic aspirations with that person, and all of the supposed sexual desires that were just a mix of gender envy, pressure to be perceived as a normal straight male, testosterone sex drive (which always felt imposed and forced and never fully me), and self-imposed pressure to have an "excuse" to focus on that person in a way that would look less creepy than the kind of obsession that happens when you're repressing the real reasons why you're interested in them.

At the time, when applying that filter, and also conveniently either not remembering or not yet understanding certain critical aspects of how certain relationships had made me feel, and also conveniently still operating under constricting heteronormative ideas of what does and doesn't "count" as a romantic or sexual relationship, I made a brand new conclusion, very real to me at the time, that I had always been aro/ace, because the most I'd ever really wanted to be and do with people up to that point was friendship.

Then within a few months of confidently projecting myself in social settings and feeling good as myself, I started to experience what I know now was intense demisexual desire, hypersexual even, but only for people who'd gotten real close. I even stated to kinda barely cooperate with flirting, in this very cute and repressed way. It was the first time I'd ever deliberately flirted and enjoyed the idea of flirting at all. Then I fell in love for, I thought, the first time. It wasn't, but it was the first time it was both reciprocated and conscious. That relationship was a whole can of worms that didn't end well, a story for another time, but after a few months of getting over it, my new HRT sexuality kicked in and suddenly my friends were all really hot.

Now when I look back on my entire life, there actually were times that I was falling in love with someone, sometimes reciprocated, sometimes not, sometimes kept entirely secret within my deepest psyche. I had a lot of forced interactions with random people that can be summed up as either just gender envy, or wanting to be friends but not knowing how, or wanting to be friends but she wanted to date the masculine mask I had on (kind of amazing considering how awful I was at ever acting masculine), etc. But some were much more than that. The funniest thing is even though I was a repressed transbian egg living in an area with zero other sapphic folks to talk to, I still had a version of the regular repressed cis lesbian experience. I spent my entire childhood crushing on and sometimes almost dating trans masc eggs and even one cis man, but I didn't start really finding myself and figuring my stuff out until near the end of high school, when a hot girl who I was already friends with took it upon herself to spend months constantly flirting with my dense autistic ass, and then I spent a few years in and out of love with my best friend, but she either wasn't gay or wasn't into me that way.

So like, the best terms for me at the end of the day are just panromantic demisexual sapphic/lesbian nonbinary woman who is still unpacking a lifetime of involuntary suppression. But I still have a certain relationship with asexuality and aromance.

As I get out more I'm finding that most people I meet who identify as asexual still engage with sex on their own terms. One of them is the person I idolize the most at this point out of everyone I've ever met. And her relationship with sex is *so* much like mine. And she still fucks, but on her terms. So although plenty of asexual folks do not engage with sex at all and that's a fair and valid thing to respect and not question, it seems to me like you don't *have* to be in that category to identify with the label.

In my case, I think I still identify to some degree with asexuality because of the fact that in most situations where it is generally expected that people will be horny and flirt and have sex and etc. I still don't experience any interest strong enough to act on, on account of being *so* demi. And people don't know what the heck I'm talking about when I tell them I'm demisexual. It's actually quite shocking and unexpected to me how few people have heard that term, even within the LGBTQ community. So for the sake of quick and honest communication, I often have to tell people I'm ace even though I'm really demi the same way I often have to tell people I'm a female woman girl she/her lady even though I'm actually a hyperfeminine enby. That's just what it takes to more reliably get the treatment that I need and deserve from strangers in today's society. It works super well, almost like a secret code, because most of the people I really want to flirt with and be closer friends with are so close to my specific corner of the transfem community that they know exactly how I'm operating. They can tell off vibes alone the deeper meaning behind it when I say "hi, I'm ace and a trans woman." They can see the super horny pan/demi femby that I really am because they've been around. And all the super straight cis folks and men that I'm not as interested in being involved with sorta leave me alone more. It's hecking awesome.

Romance obviously doesn't come up as much in conversation. The few times that strangers decide it's relevant and important to hear from you what your romanticism label is, it's because they want to gauge if they can date you. So as a woman who's used to unwanted advances from men, I will happily and shamelessly tell a complete stranger "I'm aromantic" instead of specifically saying that I'm not interested in them, because it's sadly very dangerous to do otherwise. If they perceive you as free and full of desire but just not interested in them, they often take it as a personal attack. If they think you're just not capable of what they want, they let you be.

I've been stuck with the random urge to imagine Steve and Eddie's children/future for some reason. These are written with them both being cis but can be adjusted accordingly if you want one or both of them to be trans.

Steve and Eddie both end up being teachers and end up settling in Chicago using government hush money to buy a nice duplex with Robin and her partner( when people ask how they can afford it they just shrug and say that Steve had Rich parents). I fell in love with Jewish eddie so the kids grow up celebrating both Christian and Jewish holidies.

They all have Eddie's last name because I love the idea of Steve not wanting oto taint something as precious as his children with everything the Harrington name represents or contribute to his Dad having any sort of legacy. Does that make sense logistically I don't know and I don't have any particular urge to figure that out at the moment so 🤷‍♀️

Opinion:

When adapting a non-movie (book, comic, and v show, whatever) into a movie, the first cinematic universe should be Accurate TM. When writing the screenplay, you should get feedback from a kid who grew up with the story as well as a different person who wrote their thesis about how the story affected its universe.

The second movie onward, you can experiment a little, but do try to stay close to the original characterization and tone.

All that is for the first cinematic universe: the universe of purist, accurate content.

Every cinematic universe after that? Experiment. Pick and choose characterization, I suppose, and mix and match plotlines (or make up your own), and most importantly?

From the second version of that character onwards, change demographics.

Does the director think Batman is autistic, and really wants to include a Foreshadowing scene where Tiny Bruce Wayne infodumps about bats? Do your research and go ahead.

Trans Spider-Man? Fuck yeah. I'd elaborate but Tumblr does that do much better than me.

Black Annabeth Chase? She bleaches her hair as a tribute to Thalia, who helped her punkify herself to hide when they were on the run (I want this. I want this so much).

Two and a half books into this series set in fantasy ancient Greece, it has sunk in that this series is set in fantasy ancient Greece, so I've started assuming that all the characters are bi and shipping the soldiers with each other.

In my defence, I think only one person fell in love anyway?

Oh, I started Wonder Egg Priority today. Really, what the fuck did I watched. It is not an easy show. I can't stop myself binging half the show in one go. It's the show that will fuck up 16-year-old me but probably one she needs but thinks herself too good for it. In a way, I kind of lament the rawness she had. There's a certain sense of detachedness watching it after overcoming teenage and in a happy place. If nothing the artwork alone is mind-blowing. The no. of frames and fluidity is *chef's kiss* It wasn't as stylized as, well, Madoka, but its blend of realism makes it, approachable. And I'm a huge sucker for reality-rooted fantasy stories.

For the mystery part, I keep holding out for the finale to explain everything so I didn't concentrate on looking for worldbuilding details. The symbolism is within reach with a bit of mental exercise I so crave. I'd say the characters are "mild", since they weren't your typical magical girl tropes. They take some time to digest. I like the cast equally as in, different aspects of their stories all appeal to my interest. We only have their versions of the story, and I'm curious to see how much is the truth. Maybe it's because I'm accustomed to Sentai, the slower character-building pace is sitting very well with me.

I went in knowing only two things: one being its premise rings bells of Madoka (well, only Madoka's senpai Ryuki is my childhood-defining show). Hence, what the fuck did I watched. There was nearly as much as as Hatarku Saibou. It was obviously not an anime targeted at 12-, but is it for adults? for those kitanai no otona?

It is, brutal. So brutally honest I might have been shielding myself viewing it as a pure work of art. The positive themes are friendship, self-esteem, courage, gender and sexuality. The negative themes are suicide, bullying, self-harm, neglect, abuse, trauma. I'm up to episode seven and I must say it's so refreshing to watch a show talks about mother-daughter relationships that you just, don't really have many examples of. I'm smiling with envy at the tight group the quartet has become, at their worry-free picnic and play dates. The afterschool get-together and photobooth is so nostalgic T^T

The other bit of knowledge and initial spark, was I learnt of WEP from an "autism-friendly anime" list. I went in expecting the protagoinst Ai to be the autistic (inclined) one. But her speedy recovery in episode two makes me reconsider. (I don't think it was too soon for her to open up because it was distinctly within Egg-world). So it was only until episode five and six that I notice Reiru could be the autistic one. Guess I should've guessed it earlier when they made her CEO haha. She simply admitted she is not good with people by being "always too blunt". It's still on the brink since I don't have too many details, but good enough for me to 👀👀.

I super love Momoe. A first glimpse of her character design screams "big trans boy energy" to me. But I think she is more genderfluid/nb of now? I think she might even be ace. But the point of her character, it's What's in a name?

Rika is my projection character. um.

Ai looks incredibly young. I know officially they are 14 but she just looks 12 to me. Doesn't she just invoke "must protect"? I think it's more than a coincidence for our discoverer of a secret world of door to share a wardrobe and palette with Coraline. She is the person I describe as mild becuase she has minimal personality at first. She is the character the show is building UP instead of delving down like the other three.

This is an anime I knew I must hold out until all episodes are out. Reading up on the director and writer's history of criticizing social issues and the artists' bts stories made me all the more impatient to read all the metas once finished.

sidenote: a PV sold me Shadow House this season earlier which coincidentally, is also a CloverWorks production of a mystery show. They are two different shows particularly in cinematography, but has the same flair of attention weaved in!

Butch DeLoria: ah yes, the boy, the bastard. I love him and his whole look, and the Tunnel Snakes! first off, I like to imagine he is a GNC Trans Masc dude, he’s gay, and he’s 5′1. he/him pronouns! he HATES how short he is and will fight anyone who calls him that, don’t test him. huge fear of radroaches AND the dark, don’t mix them. he’s bipolar and autistic, and favors vocal stims. echolalia!!! growing up he was forced to be pretty feminine and hated that he was forced, so when he first came out, he tried to be as masc as possible, but later at 19, he started letting himself being as feminine as he wants, but not forcing it, y’know? smokes and drinks. later, I imagine he absolutely gets his gang up and running again, with better people. they stab transphobes. Tunnel Snakes Rule!!

Charon: heart eyes motherfucker. I love him. he’s a big dude, and I mean big. 6′10. he’s bi! he/him pronouns! he’s always super nervous to act on his attractions, because not only is he a ghoul, he’s honor bound to a contract. Azrukhal said he got hypnotized to follow it I think?? I imagine he actually did! he’s not a pre-war ghoul, but a more recent one. maybe ghoulified during the what the people did to hypnotize him. canonly, he has a 3 Intelligence, and I like to think before he got hypnotized, he had a higher Int. but still had a low Charisma heh. probably also has a brain injury. selective mutism! BIG softie under all that grump

Sergeant RL-3: love this Mister Gutsy! I think he sounds way too like.. charming to be a Gutsy, but I love it. good robot! they’re definitely demi-bi/ace and Masc Nonbinary! He/They pronouns for this bot. they’re protective of the Lone Wanderer, and he just wants them safe and secure. I think he should be a companion that doesn’t have karma requirements to have them. despite his... patriotic comments, I feel like he doesn’t really care who you are or what you follow, as long as you don’t harm those they care about. the patriotism is just how he was programmed anyways. they love to just be called Sarge, rather than Sergeant RL-3
